The signature post season win

This season's New Orleans Saints team was resilient and feisty. Fighting through a coaching change that created uncertainty in the franchise, coach Ellis stepped in and led The Saints to its biggest post season win since the superbowl victory. It left an amazing taste in the mouth of the incumbent players, regardless of losing the following week. Houston's rookie season

As a rookie, QB Houston Meyers threw for 3,358 yards amd 23 tds. He also led the Saints to an upset in the wildcard round of the playoffs vs Minnesota. This was a monumental feat, as nobody thought post-Brees life included a playoff berth so early. In his second season, Meyers plans on being quicker in his reads to decrease the 33 sacks he took this season. The future is bright for young Houston, in New Orleans.[ Continue reading ]

Goodbye Cam

The Saints have parted ways with Cameron Jordan. Coming off of a 21.5 sack season, it seemed blasphemous to trade away such production. Unfortunately, we needed to spread the cap out to assist in other positions on the field. Jordon was seen to be the most covet and moveable asset in regard to cap space created, cap penalty, and difficulty of finding replacement.
