Well known Superfan Fireman Ed has been hired to takes the reigns of the New York Jets franchise. His coaching career has gotten off to a rough start after a 28-3 loss to the undefeated rival Miami Dolphins. We caught up with Ed after the game, "Obviously we wanted to start off better, they are a tough opponent and simply just ran the ball down our throats, no need to sugarcoat it, they just wanted it more today. As the game went on I did see some positives to take away from this. We let up 14 points the first two drives but then the defense settled in nicely to hold them to 14 more the remainder of the game. We also won the turnover battle 1-0, while it was a very slow day on offense, I love seeing no turnovers that's what we preach as coaches. With all that being said, everyday I spend with these boys I see alot of fire in this young squad and we look to finish the year strong, maybe play spoiler once or twice and have a nice little off-season and come back flying higher then ever." Jets welcome the Titans to MetLife next week and will be interesting to see what changes Ed has in store after this defeat.
