QB - Josh Rosen 63% completion rate with only 1869 yards and interceptions/TD margin isn't good. 10 TDS to 11 INTs. Protecting the ball down the stretch and rest of his career will be a test, and a must to have a shot for a championship. He's gotta show more poise in the pocket even when collapsing, he has to make right reads, stand his ground, and deliver strikes. Kurt Warner has shown an interest in helping the young QB get more comfortable.
RB - David Johnson has taken the most snaps for obvious reasons. Despite coach slim typically running 2 RBs in the past with a 70/30 ratio, Logan has only carried 23 times to DJs 149. Johnson is nearing 700 yards thus far and has 6 TDS. Establishing the run will continue to be in the game plan to help alleviate all the pressure on the young rookie QB.
OLINE - down right "Turrible," Charles Barkley. The biggest weakness is RT. Will Holden got the start after week 3 when veteran Chris Hubbard complained about hamstring tightness along with some ankle problems. Holden has tried his best but help will be sought after in the upcoming offseason, whether it's FA or drafting.
Defense - again Chandler Jones has proved to be a force to be reckoned with coming off the edge. 14 sacks and 3 forced fumbles is something the defense needs to build around. Tre Boston has put in work leading team in tackles(41) and in INTs (4). Defense will continue to get better and going back to the fundamentals is key. Tackling has been hit and miss as well as dbs maintaining their coverage.
WR - Here comes the Arizona's word of the year mediocre. Fitz leads team in yards (437) and TDS (3). But Christian Kirk is averaging more yards per catch. With burners like Nelson and Kirk and Fitzgerald likely to retire, it will be in the best interest to invest in a posession receiver when this season is done.
A few key pieces and this team can and will be great!
