After calling out the entire Cardinals roster, nobody would’ve ever expected Chad Kelly to come out and play the game of his life. Kelly not only backed up his comments but completely blew any expectations out of the water. Coming into this week Chad Kelly played like an elite QB for a game an a half but also played like a High School QB in another game. With his starting position up in the air Chad told the media that the Arizona Cardinals were a roster full of “NFL Rejects”. That comment led to him getting fined $30,000 by the Denver Broncos as well as pissing off his new HC Hendricks. Everyone knew heading into this game the Broncos would lean heavily on their passing game due to the absence of their bell cow back Royce Freeman. Broncos Offensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave gave Chad Kelly full reigns to run the offenses do that decision paid off big time. Kelly posted his best stat line of his life throwing for 400 yards, 5 TDs, and rushing for another score. Chad was seen taunting the Cardinals after each score, even being flagged several times for unsportsmanlike conduct. Even though he lost his cool a few times Broncos HC said post game “If Kelly can play like that every game he can do whatever he wants!” Seems like everyone’s riding the Kelly wavy right now but every Broncos fan is hoping it doesn’t crash. Kelly has shown amazing talent but on the hand he’s been wildly inconsistent. Kelly will lead this blazing hot Broncos team into Kanas City for shootout against City Chiefs. Which Chad Kelly will we all see, the Elite Gunslinger or the emotional train wreck, only time will tell.
