The Patriots walked out of Hard Rock stadium with a 42-27 win over the rival Miami Dolphins.
The game began with an impressive KO for a touchdown for the Fins that got the crowd on their feet and rowdy.
However, Brady and the offense marched right down the field and tied it up. A 3 and out, and TD later, and the Pats were in control.
Brady was magnificent. He finished 20-22 for 384 yards and 3 TDs, including a beautiful 80 yard TD to Demaryius Thomas on a deep post. The offensive line allowed 0 sacks, and Brady wasn't pressured often. The run game was efficient. Despite losing Sony Michele to a broken collar bone, the 4 RBs that were used combined for 129 yards and 3 TDs. They were also 9/10 on Third Down Conversions. Efficient and productive are the best way to describe the Pats offense in this game.
Defensively, Josh Rosen ended up carving up the secondary. The kid was slinging deep balls and using his mobility to provide himself more time to get down field. He finished with 255 yards and 2 TDs. Even when the Pats were on the verge of going up 3 scores, Rosen led a drive to keep them alive. He did throw an INT and was sacked three times though.
The Pats head back home for another divisional match up. This time, they'll be hosting the Jets.
