The Jets Explosive Deal and It’s Impact

by DaBarricade | 2 months ago | 0 Comments |

After the Jets Week 1 loss to the Bills, 14-7, Coach Cider convinces the Front Office to go out and shake things up in the organization. Shake things up they did. Not only did they sign key additions, C. J. Mosley and Leveon Bell, but after the loss, they go out and pick up DT Jurell Casey and CB Logan Ryan from the Titans for a handful of picks and the huge trade with the Rams to acquire, the best defensive player in the league, Aaron Donald. Jet fans who got attached to seeing Jamal Adams as the leader of the defense, now have to look at someone else to take the reigns as the Jets part with Adams. Leonard Williams was also involved in the trade, as a replacement for Donald. A 2020 First Round Pick was included as well but that shows the Front Office and Coach Dixon are betting on themselves this year to make some noise in the GMFL. With the leader of the defense gone, the team goes as far as Sam Darnold and Aaron Donald takes them, and while Darnold is getting things together, Donald is the perfect piece to fit alongside rookie Quinnen Williams, who has shown he belongs in the NFL. The defensive line will certainly be a scary sight for Quarterbacks this season.
