Simbardi or Bust: Joining the Revolution pt.2

With team selection over and divisions filled, I think the AFC East can potentially be anyone’s to win. Even with how dominant Nole was last year, if PJ cabs build this Pats team up, I could see New England winning the division once or twice near the end of the cycle.

With the beginning of the season here, it is time to take a look at the first few weeks for New England.

Week 1: v Dolphins

We get to see what the Bradyless Pats finally look like. We can see if Cam Newton is back to 100% or if he will be on the IR. PJ will have his hands full with Pauly but I think we can come away with the victory

Week 2: @ Seahawks

PJ will travel to Seattle to take on Tiny. The Seahawks have a great defense but will they be able to stop Newton? Seattle’s secondary is a little weak so I expect the Pats receivers to have a great game but the Pats will fall short.

Week 3: v Raiders

RIP Raider! PJ will have his hands full against Future. He is a great player and if you give him a running back like Josh Jacobs, he might be hard to stop. I don’t think the Pats front 7 will be able to stop Jacobs securing the win for Las Vegas.

Week 4: @ Chiefs

Stephon Gilmore vs Tyreek Hill will always be a fun matchup to watch. PJ and ZZ are similar players but the Chiefs offense is too overpowered. It’s a high scoring game but the Pats will be 1-3 after the first 4 weeks.

I got a few more questions for PJ.

How do you feel about your division?

  • “I think it will be competitive. I think we have alot to prove this year.”

Looking at your first 4 games, who will be your toughest opponent?

  • “Week 2-4 Seahawks, Raiders and Cheifs, Looking forward to week 1 Dolphins.”

Besides Future taking the Raiders, what was the biggest surprise of team selection?

  • “Texans going last, but not surprising they are a tough team to manage.”

Aight, that’s it for this one. We will be back around week 4 as we check in to see how the Pats are doing!
