Diablos back on track

The Diablos are back on track to compete for a playoff position just weeks after aquiring Big Ben. At first it looked like he was out of his mind, having no clue who to throw to, but the past 3 games have been much different. From a 6 interception, 3 TD game against the Steelers, Big Ben has thrown for 5 TDs without any interceptions in the past 3 games, while completing 73% of his passes, and winning 2 of the 3 games. He played well enough to win all 3, but the defense couldnt hold up aga...

Roethlisberger Concussed

Big Ben seems to be more confused than ever, or must have had a pre-existing concussion when he was acquired by the Diablos. Either way, he doesnt know what team he is on, or who to throw to anymore. It may be that he started out in KC last year after a long time in Pittsburgh, and was traded not once but twice this season, first to the Huskies, then back to the AFC West to the Diablos. Or it could be that he thought he was still on the Steelers and was throwing to the right jerseys. None the le...[ Continue reading ]

Draft

The Diablos first draft seemed to be a lackluster one compaired to much of the league, but did deliver some promising young talnts. Most notible are HB Charone Swanson and MLB Reggie Cadogan. Charone is a straight line power back with above average speed for his style of runner. While he won't be trying to get around people or make them miss, but he will run right through you or stiff arm your ass to the ground. He had a tremendous first game, albeit preseason, but ran for 181 yards and 2 TDs,...[ Continue reading ]

New Year, New Identity

The Chargers are officially dead, killed off by the Diablos. Although the roster may look mostly the same, the team is expected to be fearless, gutting their opponents in the middle of the field, and tormenting the rest of the league. For 60 minutes every week, whoever is unfortunate enough to face the Diablos will feel like they are in Hell, receiving the beat down of their life, just waiting to be slaughtered.[ Continue reading ]

On the Move

Due to the ineptitude of the NFL management, and previous ownership, the Chargers were moved from San Diego to LA. This move on its own would make sense, but to move the Rams as well the same time has made the Chargers feel unwanted. Once the league year began, the Chargers front office filed relocation paperwork, unsure of where they would end up. Well a decision was made final yesterday, and the Chargers will be moving to Mexico City, taking on a new name, logo, and colors. To ensure the Me...[ Continue reading ]
