Good morning all and welcome to my team blog.  As any of you that follow me know it's been a disappointing season to this point in San Fran.  Article is a couple days later than usual because to be honest I was hoping to avoid writing this type of article at all.  We played our week 11 game last night against the division rival Rams.  While the team played a much more competitive game we were still unable to get it done throwing an interception in the redzone with inside a minute left in the game.  Had we been able to cash in with the TD we would have forced OT.  Now to the reason I didn't really want to write this article.  As of last nights game we have been mathematically eliminated from any chance at making an appearance in the postseason.  That said, it's time to look ahead.  While we will continue to look for any and every way to win a game, it will be with some different personnel on the field.  We've already identified a bare minimum of five veteran players that will not be 49ers next season.  Time to see what we have in some of these younger guys that haven't been given opportunity to play up to this point in the season.  The hope here is that we can identify potential starters for next season as well as possibly put together the right group on the field to string together a few wins before we actually reach the post season.  It doesn't get any easier going forward.  Our remaining opponents for the season average out to well over .500 winning records.  Coach Pita while extremely disappointed in the teams performance thus far continues to be very optimistic about what we're building here.  I've personally not put any undue pressure on him.  I knew going in what he had planned and he gave me a timeframe that he expected was realistic.  While neither of us expected to be winless entering week 12 we are both confident that what we're doing in San Francisco is best for this franchise moving forward.  Until next time................#trusttheprocess
