The dolphins finished last season falling just short of the Super Bowl, losing to the Bengals in the Conference championship. With that being said, they didn't have a ton of holes to fill.

They decided to let Preston Williams walk in Free agency, and they felt like Eric Kendricks dropped off a little as the year progressed. They also elected to not resign Mark Ingram. Brian Flores talked about his top 3 positions to target in the draft, "we are targeting some guys that we think will be able to come in and compete for a starting job day 1.

with their first pick they took LV Bunkley-Shelton out of Arizona State, "when you watch him on film, his route running is elite, and his burst of the line is something special" LV thinks he can come in and compete for a starting spot opposite Devante Parker day 1. He had this to say "i know my ability and i pride myself on working extremely hard". With their second pick they took Brandon Smith out of Penn state. He is fast and he flies all over the field

These 2 guys should he very interesting to watch in the preseason and expect them to compete for starting roles from day 1.
